Jayson Kurtz
Senior Fisheries Biologist and Project Director

Jayson Kurtz is a Senior Fisheries Biologist and Project Director with 30 years of experience in both consulting and government. He provides expertise on fish and fish habitat matters as well as strategic support on environmental assessments and permitting, client/agency/First Nations/stakeholder engagement, and construction environmental monitoring. Jayson is a co-facilitator of the Yukon River Panel’s Chinook Salmon Rebuilding Plan.

Pierre Stecko
Senior Aquatic Scientist

Pierre Stecko is a Principal Aquatic Ecotoxicologist and Biologist with 26 years of environmental consulting experience. Pierre has managed over 200 aquatic environmental assessment projects, primarily for the mining industry, and holds a deep understanding of regulatory and technical requirements in this sector. His expertise spans aquatic bioavailability and toxicology of metals, aquatic chemistry, biology, and sediment geochemistry.

Ian Murphy
Managing Principal and Sr. Project Director

 Ian Murphy is a Managing Principal and Sr Project Director with over 20 years of consulting experience, specializing in fish habitat restoration, hydropower impacts, and salmon enhancement and recovery planning. Ian leads multidisciplinary teams and partners with First Nations to deliver environmental solutions across western Canada.  

William Twardek
Fisheries Scientist

William Twardek is a Fisheries Scientist with 10 years of research and consulting experience. His areas of expertise include fish passage, enhancement, and species recovery, with a focus on salmonids.
