Testimonials

"The addition of the WorkingBuildings team has been an incredible value to the success of this project. I just wanted to say what an asset they have been to this project. Their knowledge, disposition, and persistence have helped greatly in keeping this challenging project moving. I hope to have the opportunity to work with them again."

Michael Dexter
Principal with Bridgers & Paxton
"The quality of sound, or its absence, is a feature that strongly influenced the acoustical design from the start, overseen by Chris Jaffe and project director Russ Cooper “The objective was to build an acoustical environment in which you could have the band, orchestra, chorus, and opera rehearsing at the same time, and be able to walk out on stage and not hear a sound...and it works!"

Dr. David Tomatz
Former Director
Moores School of Music, Hodgson Concert Hall
University of Houston
“Possessing a wonderful acoustical equilibrium, Bass Performance Hall is one of those in which music heard by the audience is the same as that heard by the performer. The clarity of sound heard throughout the entire range, in addition to the warm and welcoming environment, makes Bass Hall one of the finest Halls.”

Yo Yo Ma, Musician
“Van Cliburn Recital Hall, designed by Jaffe Holden Acoustics, has become a favorite recital space because it is acoustically adjustable.”
